35cm x 45cm

The starting point for these quilts is the traditional Log Cabin block. There are many youtube videos on how to sew a log cabin block, so I suggest you follow them. But I do have several suggestions:
- The “logs” can be of any width and I often end up adding an extra one or two as needed.
- The ric rac is sewn with two lines of stitching so that the outside curves are anchored.
- If you are using mixed/heavy fabrics, as in the dark blue quilt (velvet, flannelette, felted wool), I think it is easier to sew it “quilt as you go” to avoid the hassles of ironing such different fabrics. The seams can be top-stitched if they don’t sit flat.
