DESCRIPTION
What stories can your quilt fabrics tell? I noticed the bird fabric scrap sitting among some flower fabrics – perfect, it is a garden just needing worms and bugs to enrich it. Children will make up their own stories centred on these elements.

Size
Approx. 35cm x 45cm (all layers cut 37 x 47cm)
Materials
- Pieced fabric for top
- Thin wadding if needed
- Backing fabric
- Medium size cotton or rayon cord
- Buttons
ORDER OF ASSEMBLY
- Piece the top
- Assemble and quilt the three layers.
- Add extra relevant details – in this case 10cm cord lengths for worms and 7 very small buttons for bugs.
- Trim and bind the quilts
